こないだ書いたシュガーフリージャムと同じメーカーが作っているヴィーガンスプレッドです。毎日の朝のサンドイッチにバリエーションを増やしたくて、なにかないかと今日ビオマーケットをうろうろしている時に、スプレッドでも試してみるか、と買ったもの。これはお試しサイズ。他に瓶入りがあります。これはひまわりの種とオイルがメイン材料として使われています。１０何種類あるスプレッドのどれもがヴィーガン仕様です。子供用もありました（何味だったかチェックを忘れましたが）。バターやマーガリンの代わりはもちろん、クリームチーズの代わりにもなりそうな濃厚さ。これだけをトーストしたパンに塗るだけで充分おいしいです。アルファルファを乗せると完璧（いまだに自家栽培しております、アルファルファ。栽培器はこちらを）。今まではいつもトーストにマスタード、豆腐ハム、アルファルファの組み合わせを毎日。たまにジャム。明日からはスプレッド２種（今回、シブレットの入ったものとカレー味を買いました）。

やっぱりドイツはパンの国ですね。パン用のスプレッドが本当に充実している。日本で言うとふりかけが充実しているのと同じ。今回のStreich（ドイツ語で塗るという意味）スプレッドはしょっぱい系だけみたいですが、他にもヌテラみたいなチョコレート＆ナッツスプレッドの種類の多いこと！そして蜂蜜も。動物性のものも入れたら、クリームチーズスプレッド、サラダスプレッドなど本当に選びたい放題です。スプレッドだけでなく、スライスされたチーズやハムも豊富です。それだけパン屋さんも多いです。さすがだなぁと今更感心してます。

日本にもおいしいパン屋さんがたくさんあるし、どんどん増えてきているんだろうけど、このパンまわりの食品はどれだけ充実しているのか？と疑問になります。こういうスプレッドはあんまり需要がなさそうな気もします。ハムやチーズなんかもいいものを買おうとおもったら、すごく高そうだな、と（ハムみたいな肉加工品は食べるならいいもの、オーガニックなものでないと、と私は思っています。食べないけど。安いものは何が入ってるかわかりませんから。成分表示を見たとこで、半分くらいが聞いたことないものだったりします）。ということで、日本に持ち帰るお土産がまた増えました。

Raanan's section

I have a friend, who's last name is Streichmann. She once came to berlin, and the minute she saw this bread spread, she decided to buy this, just for fun. She was planning to take it home, but as i remember, we ate it in Berlin. It's... a bread spread. with a lot of different kinds. It's a very nice way to start the morning, if you don't eat cheese. It's like an advanced margarine i guess... I am not sure what rie wrote, but she did write a lot of it... I guess there is some information about the word "Streich" and about the company... If you are interrested in that, learn japanese. I can just tell you, that it is pretty cheap, and can be found at your local organic store. In germany, of course. Not timboktu.
That's it, no more uni on tuesday. At least for that semester. I finished one course, got the grade to :-) I got 1.0. Or, as the germans would write it, 1,0. A small explenation, the german grade system is a little funky (at least for me). 1.0 is the highest grade. 5.0 means you failed. Between them, there are steps. 1.3, 1.7, 2.0, 2.3, 2.7 and so on. Now, when you get 1.0, you know how much you got. when you get 5.0 you also know. But how do you calculate 2.3? What kind of meaning does it have?... I know the 100% system. if you got 100, it means you answered 100%. If you got 70, it means you don't know 30% of the material... Donno. Anyhow, i am proud of my first 1.0 this semester. :-)
And one more thing. In german, you don't write 1.0, but 1,0. they use comma where others use point, and vice versa. so, a Million and a half is: 1.000.000,05 and not 1,000,000.05 . Weird...
