クロイツベルグ散歩３弾目です（読んでない方、１と２もどうぞ）。引っ越し前にクロイツベルグのお気に入り散歩道を紹介したくて始めたのですが、これが最後かも。引っ越しは来週末です。ということで、今回はクロイツベルグ！クロイツは十字架でベルグは山です。このVictoriaparkは山になっていて、その頂上には十字架があります。これがほんとのクロイツベルグ！上の写真は下から頂上を見上げたところ。夏になると水が流れてます。夏も冬も一年通してよく散歩にきました。

左の写真が頂上になるクロイツ。このクロイツはナポレオンとの戦争に勝ったお祝いに建てたそうです。ここまでくるとベルリンをぐるっと３６０度見渡すことができます。テレビ塔も見えます。私はこの頂上に立ってるよりも、ここまで来るまでの道のりが大好きです。緑がたくさんあって。ベルリンは本当に緑が多い都市だな、と感心します。引っ越し先の近所にもこんな素敵な公園があるといいのに、と思いますが、なさそうです。このVictoriaparkは平べったいベルリンの中で一番高い位置にあるとか。

ベルグはないけど、引っ越し先の２駅となり（歩いて２０分くらい）にはベルリン１の植物園（有料）があります。大きな温室もあるみたいです。年間チケットでも買って通いつめようかと企んでます。最近、本格的にホメオパシーの勉強を始めたので（大変！）、レメディに使われる植物を実際に見るには最適な場所になりそうです。天気のいい日にはそこで勉強しようかしら。イスとテーブルあるのかしら？クロイツベルグ散歩の次はシュテーグリッツ散歩を紹介します。

In our last Kreuzberg strol article, we are visiting one of my favorite Berlin spots. Viktoriapark (Victoria Park), a park which holds one of the only hills in this city, The Cross-Hill, or... Kreuzberg! (Berg is a mountain, Kreuz is a cross). The reason the name was given to the park is the monument located at the top of the hill, which has, on top of it a big cross. It's a war monument and not a religious one, but still the religious factor was verz strong during the ols German-vs.-France wars.
From the top of the hill you can practicly see Most of Berlin's roof tops. In the sun is shining you can see very far (check the alexander-platz picture, the lower left one). The artificial river that you see on the first picture is leading straight to a main street, it's actually planned wonderfully.
Anyhow, this place is a recommendation for all of you non-tourists, who wish to do something in Berlin that is not brandenburger-tor-alexanderplatz-reichstag. It's justa peacful location to enjoy a quiet picnic, but still, you don't get a lot of points like this in the center of the city.
And soon, we say goodbye to Kreuzberg und hello to Steglitz! Exciting times...
