ヴィーガンピザのあるピザ屋　Vegan friendly pizzeria

Hermannplatz（ヘルマンプラッツ）というウチから２駅となりの駅には、なんでも売ってるデパートKARSTADTやら大きい日曜大工センターBAUHAUSやらがあります。２年前までは私もラアナンもそれぞれこのヘルマンプラッツ周辺に住んでいたので、私たちはかなりこのエリアには詳しいのです。今でもなにか買い物する（食べ物以外のもの。たとえば食器だとかランプだとか）っていうと二人でいそいそとヘルマンプラッツに行きます。

昨日はフライパンを見に行きました（そうそう、エコフライパンというのがあるんですが、それはまた今度書きます。良さそうなので）。KARSTADTの調理器具・食器コーナーに行くと、かなり時間を費やしてしまいます。いろんなフライパン（ドイツはフライパンの国！）をあーでもないこーでもないと見て回って、食器のセールコーナーでまた立ち止まって、フライパンの為のフライ返し（メタルをシリコンでコートしてあるやつ）を探し始めて、とぐるぐる歩き回っていたら小腹が空いてきました。地下の食料品売り場に行ってパンでも買おうと思ったら、たいしたものがなく、そこで彼がピザに行こう！と。チーズを食べないので、ピザねぇと思ったもののお腹がすいていたし、彼曰くおいしいピザ屋があるというので、行ってみることに。私はおいしいピザ屋がここら辺にある覚えはなかったのですが。

入ってみたら、あら、並んでるピザ達おいしそう（こうやって大きいピザを切り売りするのがベルリンではよくあります。たいがいのピザ屋さんがこんな感じ）！そしてまさか！のヴィーガンピザがある！上の写真の２ユーロのサインのとこにあるのがそれ。ポテト、ナス、ズッキーニ、オリーブ、ほうれん草とトマトソースのピザ。チーズがのってないのに、ホクホクポテトのおかげで物足りなさがないのです。トマトソースも生地もとてもおいしいし。こうやって切り売りしてるベルリンのピザ屋さんで、私が今まで食べた中で一番おいしいかもしれない！そしてチーズなしのヴィーガンフレンドリーピザを見たのもここが初めて！

このエリアを熟知していると思ったのに、このピザ屋は知りませんでした、私。ラアナンは２年くらい前から知ってたらしく、なんで教えてくれなかったのー！今まで何度かここらでピザ食べたのになんで一度も来なかったのー！と帰り道に私グチグチと。また来ようと思います。二切れくらい食べれると思う、次回。ここはビオではありませんが、このヴィーガンピザの発見が嬉しかったので、そしておいしかったのでオススメします。店内に１５席ほどのイートインスペースがあります。

In any city in the world, there are those small shops, that the minute you see them, you know they are good. Something about the way they sorted the room, something about the furniture, maybe the people selling there, maybe how the goods look like. It's more common with food, but it can be about everything else. Now, this pizza place, is one of those shops. There are many of those little pizza places in berlin, that are just perfect. I guess it's because it's very close to italy. Even though it's also very close to england, yet you don't realy find good fish n' chips...
I know this place for 2 years now, but i haven't been there for a long time, and this is why it was kind'a new for rie. Kind'a new is not the right way to describe it. Completly new is better... We live 20 minutes walk from this really good pizza place, but never went there.
The title is not compelty correct, but somehow fits. Any pizza with no cheese is a vegan friendly pizza. And then had a nice pizza, with no cheese. They had many others, and the place was completly full. It's not such a big place, but we had to wait a bit until we had a sit.
Very recommended, try! If you live in Berlin, of course... If you don't, write in the comments where can we get good pizza in your area, and then we will let you know how it was, if we ever get there :-)

ベルリン１のホットドッグ　Berlin's best hotdog

ソーセージの国、ドイツ。ホットドッグが不味いわけがない。ここは格別。肉はNeuland、放牧で育てられたハッピーな動物の肉を使ってます。小腹が空いてる時に立ち寄って、サクっと食べることがでるスタンド。メニューにはホットドッグ各種、ローストオニオンンとピクルスとマスタードのノーマル（写真左下）、とろけるチーズとトマトの乗ったチーズホットドッグ（写真右上）、バゲットを使ったフレンチ、チリとチーズ、そのホットドッグに２０セント上乗せするとベジタリアンソーセージで作ってもらえます。このベジタリアンソーセージがすごくおいしい！本物のソーセージが、ここはすごーくおいしいので、ベジタリアンは期待してなかったけど、これが、本物のあのプリっとしててジューシーな感じをそのまま残した、でも肉なしのソーセージになっています。ホットドッグに加えて、ハンバーガー（これはベジタリアン仕様はありません）、ホットサンドイッチ、そしてフライドポテト。どれも安くて（ホットドッグ２ユーロ２０〜）かなり満足いくおいしさ。しぼりたてのオレンジジュースやキャロットジュースもあります。ベジタリアンでない方はぜひぜひ普通のお肉のソーセージを使ったホットドッグをオススメします！ヴィーガンになる前はかなり気に入って食べてました。ここのハンバーガーも。フライドポテトもここ以上においしいのをベルリンでまだ食べたことがありません。かなり太めにカットされて（ウェッジともまた違う感じの）、注文してから揚げてくれます。

このお店があるのは、前に書いたオーガニクコスメショップBella DonnaがあるBergmann通り。ここから歩いて３分程の所にベルリン名物のカレーソーセージ（ドイツ語でCurrywurstといいます）で有名なお店Curry36がありますが、私は断然このホットドッグショップHot dog worldをオススメ！ま、全然違う食べ物ですけれど、ソーセージを使ってるってだけで。そうそう、ここはいろんな雑誌やらオンラインレストランガイドなどでもかなり高ランクです。お店の入り口には、あるベストレストランランキングに連続で入ったというステッカーがはってあります（写真右下）。有名なオンラインガイドQYPEのベルリンファーストフードランキングでも３位という快挙（１０位がマクドナルドって。。）。ちょっとジャンクぽいものが食べたいけど、質のいいものを、って時にはここです！

When coming to buy a hot dog in Germany, one must first understand the different between "Hot Dog" and "Wurst" which roughly translates to Sausage. Wurst, is kind'a their national food. Hot dog was stolen from other nations... So, fisrt, this is not berlin's best wurst, but Hot dog.
Now, why is it the best?... Well, a few reasons. The first is that because they are really tasty.
It's a trash food place, offering mostly hot dogs, but also very tasty hamburgers and toasts, but still, something there is a little different than your local McDonalds. Their chips are crispier, their vegetables are fresher, you know, one of those places.
The second reaosn why it is such a good place, is the meat they are using. They are using the services of the meat company "Neuland", which are using only happy animals that were gorwn in green fields and were given only good food. That's also a reason why it's more expensive than any other hot dog place in berlin, even thou it's not too expensive.
This place is really highly rated all over, very much recommended for a quick snack...

I got a new bag today! for my new computer!! Rie bought me...
It's a crumpler bag, which are really practical... They give 30 years guarantee on their bags, and kind's for everything, the lady who sold us the bag told us to make a copy of the reciept, coz the ink fades away after a few years... I was thinking about it afterwards. They are a new company, they exist somehow 10 years or so. So, even if i bought this bag 10 years ago, i still have 20 years guarantee. Why do i even need the recipt?... Donno... But, here is the bag:

オーガニック全粒粉パン屋　Organic whole wheat bakery

またまたパン屋さんです。昨日、ブレッドスプレッドのとこにも書きましたが、本当にパン屋が多い！パン周りのものが充実してる！もしかしたら家選びの条件に「近くにパン屋がある」てのはここでは重要なのかもしれない。あると確かに便利。さて、今日のパン屋さんは全粒粉パン屋さん。こないだ書いたベルリンで一番のパン屋Solunaから歩いて１、２分のところにあります。みんなSolunaに行くでしょー、と思いきや、この全粒粉パン屋さんにはお客さんがひっきりなしに出たり入ったり。実際、写真を撮ろうと思って行くと、いつもお店の前に出てるテーブルでお茶してる人がいて、出直す、というのを何回かやりました（こないだ行った時は誰もいなくて、写真が撮れる！と思ったらカメラのバッテリーが切れて、撮らずに帰ってきました。。）小さなお店ですが、中に５、６席のお茶コーナーもあって、お店のケーキやキッシュなどと一緒に店内で食べることができます。もちろんお茶だけでも。

Solunaはすごくおいしいけど、高い。そして大きめのパンがメインでそのまま食べるというよりは、家でサンドイッチにするなり、スプレッドを塗るなりして食べるのが多いですが、ここBrotgartenには小さなパン（甘いのが充実、しょっぱい系も少し）もかなりあります。そして良心的なお値段。ま、普通のパン屋さんと同じような品揃えです（普通は小さいパンも大きいパンもどっちも充実してます。Solunaは個性的なので大きいのばっかり）。この近辺でパンを買う時はそんな感じでSolunaとBrotgartenを使い分けています。ここでパンやらケーキやらを買ってハズれたことは一度もないです。どれもおいしい。早めに行くことをおすすめします。２時くらいになるともうすでに品薄です。シャミッソプラッツのエコマルクトにも出店してます。

Raanan's Corner. Or Section, whatever you want :-)

So! After the succesful Berlin's best bakery, comes another healthy bakery. This time it's the whole wheat bakery at Suedstern. I have to admit, that i walk next to this bakery quite a lot, but i never felt i need to go in there. But yesterday, a cake was (magically) brought to me.
Now, a preface to this small story, i am allergic to coconut. Yes, i know. I can't eat this curry coconut thing the thai people are making. And i love it. But i am not allowed to. I am not allowed to by rie, not by me. I allow myself, she doesn't allow me. It's anyhow a good thing i guess, not to eat coconut. Especially if you are allergic to it. But it's tasty. With this green curry thing... Wow...
So, anyhow, this cake, had coconut on top of it. The other cake she brought had nuts. Another thing i don't like (along with cooked apples). So, i had to take the coconut cake, which was delicious. I didn't get the cake until all of the coconut was removed from the top layer, but still, it was really tasty. Recommended.

Tomorrow starts Berlin's green week, a get-together of all of germany's green technology/food/organic stuff/everything green. This year it's cooperating with the netherlands, so it will be even more interresting. I guess... Go there, and let us know how it was! Only if you are in Berlin of course...

ビオヴィーガンハンバーガーショップ　Bio vegan hamburger restaurant

オーガニック素材でしかもヴィーガン仕様のハンバーガーレストランがベルリンにはあるんです。しかもおいしー！レストランの名前はYellow Sunshine。レストランというより、ハンバーガーショップです。メニューにもBIO FAST FOODと書いてありました。

メニューは基本的に全部がベジタリアン仕様、そのうちの半分（以上だと思う）はヴィーガンです。私が頼んだのはセイタンチーズバーガー（写真右上）、セイタンでできたパテとソイチーズです。彼（ラアナン）はベーコンチーズバーガ（写真左上）、ソイミートのパテとフライド豆腐ハムと普通のチーズです。前菜にチキンチリロール（写真左下）、チキンて言ってるけどこれはもちろんフェイクチキン。そしてポテト。材料はどれもオーガニック、そしてメニューにちゃんとベジタリアンかヴィーガンかが記載されています。自家製ソイマヨネーズ、ピーナツソースなどもあってどれもヴィーガン。シェイクやスムージーなどもヴィーガン。飲み物はコーヒー、紅茶からビオビール、ビオナーデなどの炭酸飲料まで揃っています。コーヒーは普通のコーヒー各種（カフェラテ、カプチーノ、エスプレッソ）に加えて、穀物コーヒーもあり、希望すれば牛乳の代わりに豆乳にしてくれます。２５種類ほどあるハンバーガーに加えて、５種類ほどのプレートメニューもあります。ソイシュニッツェルやセイタンステーキなど。デザートは３種、どれもヴィーガンです。ティラミス、チョコマフィン、バニラライスミルクアイス（ドイツではお米を牛乳で煮て甘くして食べる、という信じられないことを普通にします。そしてみんなこれが結構好き）。私たちはお腹いっぱいだったので、ティラミス食べたかったとこをマフィン持ち帰りにしました。チョコレートたっぷりでおいしかったです。卵も牛乳も使ってないとは思えないほど、しっとり感と若干のふんわり感がありました。

今日はひさびさにYellow Sunshineに行きました。前に行ったのは１年くらい前だったかな。行くたびに「おいしー！」となります。ベルリンのぴあ的雑誌Tipマガジンのハンバーガー特集で酷評されていたこのお店ですが、私はかなり気に入ってます。ま、普通のハンバーガーと比べたら、ベジタリアンじゃない人にとってはソイやらセイタンやらでできたパテはハンバーガーじゃない、ってなっても仕方ないですね。肉汁なんて出てこないし。でも、私はヴィーガンになる前から好きでしたが。やはり食べた後に胃がもたれない。胃が少しくらいもたれたとしても、食べると思いますが。それくらいおいしい！のです。

夏やもう少し暖かい時期に行って、テイクアウトしてこのお店の目と鼻の先にあるゴーリッツァー公園の芝生の上で食べるのもおすすめ。お店があるヴィーナー通りはカフェやレストランがずらっと並んでいます。そしてこの界隈は西のクロイツベルグ（私が住んでるとこ。昨日書いたBergmann通りなど）と比べてかなり雰囲気が違います。私はこのクロイツベルグの東側をファンキークロイツベルグと読んでます。西は東より落ち着いた感じ。

Ahhh, Yellow Sunshine. Where the healthy people go to eat trashy food. In general, it's (as they say) europe's first organic fast food restaurant. There are around 20 kinds of hamburgers, schnitzel, sausages and more, all are either vegetarian or vegan. And, so far, they are all tasty!!
The organic McDonalds, so to say. And it's not more expensive than a regular McDonalds meal. 7 Euro per person and you have your Hamburger-Drink-Chips regular combination. For 1 Euro more, you also get a salad. And let me tell you something about their chips. If you are two, don't order more than one portion of that. Not that it's not tasty, it is! But, it's enough for three people. Or two hungry people. Or one VERY hungry.
And the hamburger? Well, Tivall is still better. For those of you who don't know what tivall is, it's an israeli brand, making vegetarian fake-meat products (available in europe under the name "Gourmet-Garden" or Tivall). But, even though Tivall is better, their hamburger is really tasty, and they managed to make a good combination of everything inside, making it a very good hamburger. But yet, vegetarian...
It's never full, always welcoming, they have every kind of Bionade you want, organic beer, Organic Curry-Wurst, vegan muffins etc' etc'....
Just let me know before you go, i will come with. The germans say "I want to come with", and never add the "you" at the end. It's because of the german language, who totally leaves out the "you" at the end, due to grammatic rules... So, I will come with.

Weather!
Sun! It was sunny today. But damn cold. Wow... We went to Victoria Park, because there was sun, and were amazed by the amound of small german kids sliding with their snow sleds... Along with grown ups who do the same thing. So, I took a picture!!

ナチュラルコスメショップBella Donna　Natural cosmetic shop Bella Donna

うちの近所にBergmann通りというカフェやらレストランやら雑貨屋さんやらアンティークショップやら服屋さんが並んでる比較的若い人に人気のおしゃれ通りがあって、このナチュラルコスメショップもそこにあります。オーガニックのドイツコスメをメインに、化粧品道具、ヘアケア用品、お風呂グッズ、アロマオイルなどなど素敵な品揃えです。オーガニック系のお店にありがちなエコ感とかヒッピー感とかが全くなくて、オーガニックにこだわらないコスメ好きの人にも入り易い、そして楽しめる感じのお店の雰囲気作りがここの良さ。有名なドイツオーガニックコスメ（ハウシュカ、ラヴェーラ、ロゴナ、タウトロッフェン、ヴェレダ、マルティナなど）はほぼ網羅しています。そしてプリマヴァラのオーガニックエッセンシャルオイルもほぼ全種ずらっと並べられています（圧巻！写真右上）。

化粧品だけに限らず、その周りの小物、ツールも充実してるところが見ていて楽しいです。そのほとんどが自然素材でできたもので、ついつい欲しくなってしまいます。ヘアケア用品の横には、いろんな種類のブラシとか、石けんの横には石けん置きとか体を洗う海綿スポンジとか、化粧品の横には化粧品ポーチとか。そうそう、ここは男性用のフェイスケア用品も揃ってます。アフターシェイビングクリームとか。もちろんその隣にシェイビングの時に泡を塗るふさふさと柔らかいあのブラシ（なんて呼ぶのかしら？）も置いてあります。オーガニックコスメ屋さんだけど、オーガニックってとこを前面にプッシュしてるんじゃなくて、コスメショップてとこを押してるとこが、さすがBergmannに店を構えてるだけあるな、と。

お肌に悩みがあったり、どれを買おうか迷ってる時、買いたい商品についての質問など、お店の人が丁寧に答えてくれます。自分たちの扱う商品をよくわかってる店員さんたちです。

They got to my soap as well. Those natural people. To the soap, the shampoo, the lip cream, the deordorant, whatever you want. And this shop has it all.
It's a small shop, on the lovely bergmann street, allowing all nature lovers to buy their cosmetic-needs at a fair-but-yet-very-expensive price. I mean, it's very expensive, if you are used to buying the cheapest soup there is, but isn't so expensive when you are used to buying an expensive thing, it wouldn\'t matter for you so much. The difference?... Well, it all depends how much you believe that certain chemicals are going through the skin directly in your whatever-stream and create problems. There was a huge study about deordorants that contains aluminum (the so called "Anti Perspirant"), they have a few serious negative sides (hurt the liver, if i am not correct. either the liver or the kidney). Yet again, there is one positive side. The person who uses it doesn't smell.
Anyhow, i recommend you people to do whatever is good for you. If you are used to something, and you feel good using it, keep on using it. But if you want to start using something new, try those products, maybe they are good!

Weather!!
today was 0 degrees! Wow... so hot.... The snow started melting, which makes the sidewalk be really muddy. And slippery. And, combined with the stones i mentioned yesterday, serious mess.

Tomorrow we are going to eat vegan bio burger! And of course there will be pictures and recommendations and a lot of potatoes...
