「てらさな」というオランダのオーガニックメーカーがあって、全粒粉うどんと素麺はいつもここのを買います。前にレシピをのせたソイカルボナーラはここの全粒うどんを使ってます。こないだLPGにいったらてらさなの新しい麺類がならんでいました。３種類ほど。その中で目を引いたのがこの「さつまいもそば」です。原材料はそば粉とサツマイモの粉だけ。こんなおそばもあるんだねぇとめずらしいので買ってみました。さつまいも好きなので。

普通にだしでスープを作って食べる気がなぜかしなくて、焼きそばにしてみました。ちょうど家にさつまいもがあったので、細切りをショウガとタマネギと炒めて醤油で少し味付けしました（写真）。コシがあって、さつまいもの甘みがとてもおいしいおそばです。温かい汁そばにするより、こうやって炒めたり、冷たくしてつけ汁（温かくても冷たくても）につけて食べるのが、やっぱりこの蕎麦には合いそうです。蕎麦の巻き寿司にしてもおいしいだろうなぁ。というのは、お皿に盛った後に、のり巻きみたいに巻きつつ食べたら意外においしかったのです。結局ほとんどのり巻きにして食べてしまいました。今日なんとなくやってみたんですが、炒めたサツマイモと蕎麦って合うんです。うどんよりも蕎麦みたいにさっぱりした麺類のほうが合いそう。サツマイモはよくパスタには使うのですが、これは新発見。それにしても、日本でも見たことないのに、ここドイツでさつまいも蕎麦なんてものに出会うなんて。日本にもこういうのあるんでしょうか？

Buckwheat noodles... just say soba! Buckwheat... Who knows what buckwheat is? I don't... So, i went to wikipedia, my source of knowledge, to find out what it is. Here is a lovely quote : "Buckwheat refers to plants in two genera of the dicot family Polygonaceae" (Origin here) . Say what? I didn't even know dicot was a family! Or is Polygonaceae is the family? And how do you read this?...
So, i gave up on trying to understand it, i just figured it is a kind of wheat, and that you can make noodles from it. The japanese call it soba. And they can eat soba everyday. When they are not eating rice, they are eating soba. And this is what we ate today. But we ate a special kind of soba. It was soba, mixed with sweet potatoes! Very interesting, and not so bad! We bought them in LPG, in the "asian" section. They have now a few other kinds, maybe we will try some others. But this one sounded tasty...
Anyhow, surprisingly enough, we mixed those noodles with... sweet potatoes (organic, made in israel, of course!), onions, ginger and soy sauce. On top rie added Nori (seaweed), and we used our brand new name-branded-amazingly-pretty chopsticks (Thanks to the wonderful hodoshima's! :-) ). Delight.

We found someone today to replace us in our apartment, since we are leaving. Not Berlin, of course, but the apartment. We are moving to a different place in a month, and hopefully it will work out well. I will update you about the planning and stuff from time to time... And someone asked me today how the weather is in Berlin. I said it's perfect. 9 degrees during the day, and the sun sometimes shine. What can be better???
